With the game running, I alt-tabbed out, went back in and rechecked the synchronize button. After I reloaded the game the saves where there and I could select my old characters. So what I did was I exited the game to desktop, went into steam and unchecked the synchronize button. The characters didnt show up and the old saves didnt show up in the “show all saves” list. After doing this they did not show up in the game. So I tried copying my old saves and pasting them into the save folder for Fallout 4. I wanted to see if completing the quest chain for any particular faction had any effect on the Far Harbor play through.īut I didnt want to run 4 new characters through each of the factions. I hypothesized nothing would be different, but I just wanted to test it out. Well today, I had the bright idea of running a character from each faction through Far Harbor when it comes out. I wanted a fresh install with no mods to play through. I completed Nuclear Family and came back to Danse, still romanced, still able to be talked to and recruited! Also you can get the mod Danse GTFO Power Armor – for more immersion, there’s no requirements.I made a backup of all my saves just prior to Automatron coming out. Side with your preferred faction (which is obviously not BoS, otherwise you would not be up to here).
She’s right there, just standing there, outside, not even on the Prydwen or anything.
If combat is too hard for you just kill Ingram and run away. You’ll notice Danse doesn’t care that you’re now a permanent enemy of the Brotherhood, because he is too, and you haven’t sided with anyone before that. It doesn’t matter because that’s going to happen once you side against the Brotherhood. You’ll know once you see your Brotherhood quests fail one after the other. If you just kill a random scribe they’ll be non-hostile after 3 days, so you need to make sure the person you kill is irreplaceable. You need to make yourself permanently an enemy of the Brotherhood of Steel in your own right.
These essentials will NOT respawn ever again. They will respawn for later but I think the priority is to kill HIGH RANKING ESSENTIAL MEMBERS like Elder Maxson, Ingram, Kells etc. I cleared out the entire Prydwen from the inside out, including the Airport. Dismiss Danse and go to Boston Airport so people aren’t hostile.
